is a licensed airframe and powerplant
mechanic who holds degrees in electronics
and aviation maintenance technology from
Southern Illinois University. After working
as an airline aircraft mechanic, he served
as an aviation certification specialist

He opened two large repair stations for
heavy aircraft in the Phoenix area that
eventually employed 600 mechanics and
technicians. His staff consisted of more
than 60 inspectors and support personnel
who supervised maintenance operations
for 29 DC-10 and MD-11 aircraft. After
Boeing acquired McDonnell Douglas, Ron
also served as a certification specialist
for a revolutionary modification program
that provides worldwide inflight broadband
Internet services.
As
a result of Ron's extensive experience
in the aviation industry, he has developed
